When It’s Time To Leave Something Behind

It’s always difficult… but sometimes it’s so worth it.

Have you ever been in a situation where you realized that you had everything or at least a lot, but there was just something missing, or extra. A situation where everything seems to fit, except there’s just something that still feels wrong?

When you’re in a situation like that, it’s easy to just brush it off and think that you may be overreacting, or that things are simply going to get better with time.

It can be easy to wonder what is wrong with YOU, as opposed to what is wrong with the situation you’re in.

In truth, the only difference between having everything kinda being in place and having everything actually be in place is that one is not viable, and the other is essential.

When something is wrong, it seeps into every other corner of your life. And everything you do is tainted with that one little thing that should be fixed.

While I’m not talking about OCD or neuroticism, I am talking about creating a better life for yourself.

When something feels wrong, even if everything else seems right, it may be high time to realize that you should become proactive in finding what you need to change.

Something change means letting go of something, and sometimes change means adding something that you so dearly need. The difference between the two is huge. Because when you lose something that was making your life better, you need to get it back, and when you add something that makes things more difficult, then you’ll have to remove it.

However, after a few leaps of faith, and becoming painfully aware of how your life is improved or worsened as you add and remove things, you’ll start to understand how you tick. And you’ll get better insight into how you actually like things to be, and how you don’t like them to be.

Once you know this, you are officially armed with the strength to let the past go, and whatever didn’t serve you and move on to better, more peaceful, and happier days.

And if you ever hesitate to do this. And start compromising on things like your health or your work, remember this: It’s never okay to let things hinder your life. You deserve the best you can offer yourself because it’s you goddamnit!
