Making The Most Out Of Little Time

Speed is the name of the game… we’ve established that. But what do you do when you have just a little bit of time.

Nathan Dumlao

Most people’s days are rushed going from one thing to the other, and they’re not taking much time for themselves to even take a breather.

This can cause a lot of stress, and then people wonder why they do bad work or are tired all the time.

The truth is, stress puts a lot of strain on your body, and when you're confined by little time to get stuff done, you’re likely to become stressed — sometimes without you even being consciously aware that you are.

To take a moment out of your fast, busy life, is to take a moment for your mental health and your physical health. These moments you take for yourself are extremely important because they can determine your success or failure in the grand endeavour you’re working hard at every day.

There is much to be said about how you take time to work. But even more to be said about how you take time off. Taking time off IS a good strategy to do better work. Not only that, the work you’ll do will be able to be done faster (and better), since you’ll have more energy, and more of your faculties will be in tune with the work you’re doing.

People wonder how they can get more done, and how they can get things done more quickly. And they think that it’s by doing more, cramming more in your schedule, and by doing things on a timer that they’ll reach their goals faster.

The truth is that by doing too much or doing things too quickly, without giving yourself time to rest, you’re actually making it harder for yourself to achieve the goals that you want to achieve. And this is simply due to the fact that when you’re overworked, you’re not spending all your time on the main thing, the thing that’ll bring you the closest to your goals today. And isn’t that what you’re looking to do anyway?

By focusing your energy on doing your best work, you’re making sure that you’re moving as fast as possible. The better you do your work, the more advanced you’ll get and the “faster” you’ll get to your goals.

When you have but little time, the best thing you can do is make sure that you’re well-rested so that you give it your all, and then do the work as best you can.

When you’re at your best and doing your best work, then you’re actually working as fast as you can.
