How I Decided To Become A Writer

It occurred to me that the modern writer is not the same as who it once was. Today, we all writers. We write Instagram captions, Facebook posts and send over a billion messages a day… and most of us have forgotten the art altogether.

I believe everyone has a story to tell, and nobody tells your story better than you do. So I decided to write mine — starting with this post.

“Hi everyone,

My name is Alexandre Mouland. I am a 22 year old Canadian with a big dream. I want to help 1 million people live the life they were always meant to live. I plan on accomplishing my goal by opening my mind to the possibilities of what is possible and by working hard.

I was told by a mentor of mine that writing would be a good way to make my dreams come true. The right sentence in the right essay can unlock a world of opportunities, and I believe it!

A good blog post that reaches the right person can cause a world of difference in that person’s life — I’ve heard so many stories about Instagram changing people’s lives. One blog post can change the lives of millions.
